A pop-up Thanksgiving Farmers’ Market is happening in Midcoast Maine on Sunday, November 19, 11 am to 3 pm rain or shine. Area market vendors and food producers are coming together on the grounds of Appleton Creamery, 780 Gurney Town Road in Appleton to offer a menu of local goods to provision Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to a full line of cheeses from Appleton Creamery, the market will include Brazen Baking with crackers and pies, Fine Line Farm with vegetables, Turtle Rock Farm with condiments, Copper Tail Farm with cajeta and caramel, Ravenswood Flower Farm with table arrangements, and a few more producers.
This family and kid-friendly event is a great opportunity to meet the farmers and cheesemaker, the goats, puppies, peacocks, chickens and Guinea fowl, right at the farm. If the weather is inclement, the vendors will be setting up in the greenhouse. For updates visit appleton.creamery on Facebook or appletoncreamery.com. Find our locaton HERE.
