This is another annual event sponsored by The Maine Cheese Guild.Always held on the Sunday of Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend in October when the Maine landscape is ablaze with color. Add cheese and you’re in heaven. Creameries throughout the state participate.
Visit the farms, meet the cheesemakers, sample and purchase cheese and other dairy products, peep at the foliage. See a map of all participating Maine Creameries here.
MIDCOAST CHEESE TRAIL FARMS – OPEN CREAMERY DAY
Times at various locations may vary, but the event generally runs from 11 to 3.
We ask you to check each farm’s website or social media for specific details, and to adhere to CDC Covid-19 safety protocols when you visit the farms and, please, no dogs. This is a rain or shine event.
